Step 3: Specifying your Search Criteria

Once the data source is loaded, an Untitled Search Query Builder window is displayed with the corresponding database palette.

The search columns determine the criteria for selecting records from the database. Columns are dragged from the database palette into the Search Columns list. You can easily configure each column to be searched by specifying the data type and the title of the column as it will appear within the web browser. You can also specify how your users will enter the value, i.e. pop-up menus, radio buttons, check boxes etc.--without any HTML coding.
